I am so appreciative of my family. I feel fortunate that we were able to be all together. What’s more, I enjoy being with my family. Not many that say that.
Took Grandma to see her favorite, Bob Barker, at the LA Times Festival of Books at UCLA. It’s a great event, tons of authors reading and speaking about their books. Grandma was interested in two TV presenters. She heard Tom Bergeron talk about her second favorite show, Dancing with the Stars. Both Bergeron and Barker were very polite. Since they were back to back, she couldn’t get a picture with Bergeron. It took us almost 3 hours to get back to Fullerton, but Grandma didn’t care.
Toured Hearst Castle this past summer. My cousin had us set up; he works on the grounds. I was amazed at so much of the beauty. What really impressed me were the ceilings. Hearst bought ceilings, then built rooms around them. That’s project managing!
